FACULTY TENNIS CLUB
MEETING
The Faculty Tennis Club will
meet in Room 39, Physics Building,
on Tuesday afternoon, September
26, at 5 o’clock, to elect officers
and transact other business. Mem
bers of the teaching, research and
administrative staffs of the Col
lege, who are interested in tennis
and would like to join the Club,
are especially invited to attend
this meeting.
We regret being unable to cany
the complete staff in today’s mast
head, but following organization
of the staff Tuesday night we will
be able to do so.
Services for all Jewish boys will
be held at Temple Freida in Bryan
Saturday morning at 9:30.
All Jewish students will meet
at Mrs. J. J. Taubenhaus’ home,
Tuesday at 7 p. m. They will meet
on the steps of the Y. M. C. A. at

DORMITORY LAUNDRY SERVICE
1 All laundry from the old dormitories
will be turned in at the laundry station m
two west rooms of Austin Hall.
2. All laundry from the twelve new
dormitories will be turned in to the laun
dry station at north end of dormitory 12.
3. Laundry slips will be secured from
laundry rooms. The name, address, e t.C '
will be placed in the space designated, it

students will be assigned new laundry
marks. The stub is then torn from the

5. Laundry must be turned in and called
for as scheduled as other laundry will be
coming back on the following days and
unless cleared there will be congestion at
the laundry rooms. Students please note
your respective dates and cooperate with
us to avoid any confusion and mix-ups.
All late or out-of-place bundles will have
25 cents charge on it-
6. Students will be allowed 23 pieces
per week with limit of 4 shirts, 2 pants, 1
coverall, and 3 polo shirts. Shirts may be
exchanged for pants. There will be a
charge on all excess pieces above 23
pieces. Shirts 10 cents, pants 20 cents,
coveralls 10 cents, polo shirts 5 cents, all
small pieces 2 cents each. An extra 23
piece bundle may be sent in for 55 cents.
Small extra bundles are charged by list
price.
7. 1st sgts. secure laundry pads from
laundry rooms.
The laundry has 650 laundry bags for
sale to students at 40 cents each.

or any of the other old buildings—
you are almost certain to run across
a girl’s name. Most of them are
simple like Ruth, Betty, Jane, or
Sara. But on one of the seats you
will find inscribed the name of one

and your columnist is the goat.
A young blade and his girl were
sitting next to me in the Palace
the other night. Going out during
the advertisements the sweet young
thing scraped my shins, stepped
on my newly-shined shoes, and
went up the aisle without a word
of apology.
I was “fried” to a crisp. “Wait
till she comes back,” I thought,
“I’ll cripple her for life.” But when
