Three Agronomy Seniors Tour Europe
This Summer; Leave After Fimd Review
The third of June will b« one off'
the biggest days in the lives of
three senior agronomy students for
immediately after the Final Re
view they will leave with Prof. J.
S. Mogford on a two months cotton
tear which will take them through
all important points in the cotton
industry in the United States and
in addition will include a visit to
England, Norway, and Sweden.
The throe senior* who will make
this trip are H. P. Goodloe, R. V.
McNiece, aad J. 0. Aughtry.
These three Manors who were
winners of the annual cotton con
test will visit Washington and the
New York World Fair during their
cotton tour of the United States
and together with Prof. Mogford
have arranged a travelogue sched
ule which will give tiyen a chance
to visit aa many important points
as possible during their tour both
here and abroad. ^

BANQUET FRIDAY
A. P. Rollins, 3t^ of Dallas, was
the principal speaker at the A.S.
C. E. banquet held last Friday
evening in the banquet room of
the mess hall. Mr. Rollins made
the civil engineering awards to
the senior and junior of A. A M.
who were mort active in the society
during the part year. Abbie Koch
was presented the senior award,
and B. B. Cloud the junior award.
After the presentation, J. J.
Richey, bead of the C .E. Depart
ment, made a short talk to the
graduating seniors, wishing them
well ia their work after college.
The election of the officers for
the coming ywar wss held end as is
the custom of th* society, only the
underclassmen voted. B. B. Cloud
was elected president for the com
ling year and C. F. DeVilbiss was
elected to be the C. E. Junior Re
presentative on the Engineering
Council.
