with the Bears, they can still win
the championship by defeating the
Mustangs—which is far from an easy
assignment. T. C. U. still remains
one of the undefeated and untied
major football teams of the United
States.

We have not seen Koch of the
Baylor crew play, but if he is any
better than Chuch Richter he is
welcome to an All-American berth.
Richter should easily receive the
mythical berth, but he is not only
on a losing club, but has no news
paper to laude him. One half of the
recognition given the scrapping Bush
Jones of the Owl tribe would give
Richter the mention. Many scribes
rely on accounts of other sports
writers for their predictions, but if
they could only watch this Aggie
guard’s play for an hour, he would
get the position in a lope.

Brooks Conover is fast becoming
the outstanding kicker of the confer
ence. He has an average of 48
yards for every one of his 29 punts
and three of the games have been
played in driving rains -which makes
his record more amazing.
