line and marched right down the
field for the winning touchdown
without losing the ball—that looks
like power for the 1931 team. Wood
land carried the oval over, but the
kick was bad. Brownsville came
back and threatened once just before
the half ended, but never after that
got inside the Aggie 30-yard line.
The crowd of 7,000 people who wit
nessed the struggle saw a beautiful
game from beginning to end.
A forward wall that refused to give
an inch was the outstanding light
for the fish. Coach Hig’s charges
are fast developing into a powerful
outfit. He has a wealth of fast, elu
sive backfield material and should
turn out some good men for next
years’ varsity.
Allen Feud Renewed.
Friday the Freshmen and Allen
Academy renew hostilities again.
Last year Blinn was played and the
annual game with Wilson’s charges
omitted. The Allen crew have a
mighty club this year and are due
to give the Fish considerable trouble.
This game will give the fans a
chance to see the material that will
be on hand next year and also a
good game will result at any time
these two elevens meet. Watch this
Fish Malone at end. Walker in the
line, and Woodland and Aston in the
backfield. These men are not by
any means the best on the fish
squad, but are due to deal plenty
misery to any opponent.
AGGIE HARRIERS
the course in 19:20 minutes.
Last Saturday Rice met the Texas
Harriers on the Steer course and
Willis of the Owl team ran it in
19:20 in the mud. Texas won this
meet.
It is interesting to note that the
Aggie team met Texas last year
just before the Conference meet on
the Austin course, and this year
will meet the Owls on the Rice
course just before the Conference
meet which will be held in Houston.
Aggieland is due for the meet next
year if T. C. U. decides to let their
turn go. The Frogs are entering a
team this year for the first time.

Cornell University has applied for
a patent for a new and inexpensive
process of making milk sugar, a
process discovered by Dr. Paul Sharp,
professor of dairy chemistry at the
University. The process is said to
yield a milk sugar not formerly used
on the market, which may be substi
tuted for ordinary table sugar.
