These staunch backers of the Green Wave seldom took their seats, in fact, the deluge of water could not make them sit down, much less leave the stadium for shelter. Another interesting thing noted was the fact that about half of the end seats were filled by high school and grade children who had their own yell leaders and were making enough noise to be heard over the Aggies and Tulane’s outburts of enthusiasm. * ❖ 'A- “When in Rome, do as the Ro mans do” may be old and trite, but had the Aggies adhered to the prin ciples of the River Folks they would not have had to stand in a barrel until their suits were dried.
