The track meet has been announced for Saturday, May 18th., at 3 p. m. The events included in this meet will be as follows: 100- yard dash, 220-yard dash. 440-yard dash, 880-yard run, mile run, 120- yard high hurdles, 220-yard low hur dles, high jump, pole vault, discus, shot put, broad jump and javelin throw. In the field events the men may take their three trials at any time during the afternoon, but in the pole vault and high jump the con testants must keep up with the rise of the bar. This will allow the men to enter both field and track events. All men are requested to meet in the north stands of Kyle Field at 2:40 p. m. so that they may be given instructions regarding the procedure of the meet. Each organization will be given 50 points if they have men entered in half the events, but the men must participate to get these points. The winner of each event will be given the official Intramural med al. Swimming The annual intramural splash will be held in the Y pool the following Saturday week, May 25th.
