Gentlemen:
Just a line to let you know where
some of your tobacco has been going
for the last ten years.
I have been smoking Edgeworth for
the past ten years; in fact, since I
started smoking, and it i . just as good
now as it was then. Have given other
brands a fair trial, but there is none
like Edgeworth. During that time I
have had costly pipes and some not so
costly, but I have decided that it is
not the pipe but what is in it that
counts.
With best wishes for your continued
success in the manufacture of this high
grade tobacco, I am,
Sincerely,
(Signed) N, A. Yaeth

DEBATERS ENTER
MORE CONTESTS
Date for a debate between A. &
M. and Southern Methodist Univer
sity has not been reset as yet, but
will probably be done the latter part
of this week, Coach C. O. Spriggs of
the debating team has announced.
This debate was originally scheduled
to be held on March 15, but was
postponed because of the inability
of the Mustang debaters to come
here at that time.
The debate will probably be sched
uled on either April 10, 12 or 15,
Mr. Spriggs has stated.
Ag’gieland will be represented by
W. G. Carbahan and B. A. Clutter,
Sophomores, in this contest. The
question will be “Resolved: That in
a Democracy the Cabinet Form of
Government is Preferable to the
Presidential Form.” I The Farmer
speakers will have the affirmative
side of the question. Three judges,
as yet unnamed, will render a deci
sion. 1
April 4 will see the debaters in
two contests with the Sam Houston
State Teachers College. One group
will debate here, and another will
argue at Huntsville' the home of
the Bearcats. The question this
time will be “Resolved: That the
United States Should Adopt Some
Substitute For the Jury Sysjtem.”
Each school will have a chance to
consider both sides of the question.
THE TENNIS SEASON OPENS
“I believe that in the future prac
tically all of the ranking tennis play
ers on this side of the water will
be college men,” says William E.
Hinchliff, coach of the tennis and
squash racquets at Yale, in the April
College Humor. “At Yale it is esti
mated that two-thirds of the stu
dents play tennis. The number of
courts could be doubled again and
there would still be too few. The pre
paratory schools of the country are
filled with brilliant young players.
It takes no stretch of the imagina
tion to see them playing tennis and
continuing their interest in the game
when they matriculate at the higher
institutions of learning.
“Speaking of tennis in a general
way, I would like to point out the
fact that the dope is upset in tennis
probably less than in any other
sport. When both players are in trim
and fighting for all they are worth,
you will have a hard time finding a
sport that brings [such consistent
victories to the admittedly better
players. It is a sport where one can
work with one’s game at practice and
feel confident that the breaks of the
game will have little or no effect
on the outcome of contests.”
