Tim Mills, the slender, black-hair
ed little back from Groesbeck, is
proving to be one of the best ball-
toters among the Aggie flock. He is
also a good passer, although not
one of note. He will have one more
year of competition and if he con
tinues to improve should be a great
offensive star next year.

Jack Christian of Abilene and Ma-
grill of Marshall are two former
All-State High School linesmen who
are looking mighty good on Hig’s
“Pish” football squad. And there
are others, although the backfield
material does not look over-pelnti-
ful.

“Red” Petty of the Aggies is about
the best end in the conference this
fall. He is a great defensive end,
smart as a whip, and a nice pass
:eceiver. He should be a certain
choice for the mythical All-Confer
ence eleven.

With the third defeat in a row
marked up against them, and with
the dope against them to win more
than one more conference game,
this season looks like one of the
poorest the Aggies have ever had
since Dana Bible took the reins of
the A. and M. Athletic program.
Arkansas scored more touchdowns
against the Farmers than any other
team has been able to do since Bible
took charge in 1917.

C. M. Close, ’23, was recently made
District Sales Manager for the Pur
ina Mills with headquarters at Jones
boro, Arkansas.

There are some who think Fed
eral aid to farmers will have to
wait until drouths have been abol
ished.

It doesn’t make much difference
who is Vice-President, but we would
like to see one from Arkansas for
a change.
