the cadets remained at College Sta
tion during the holidays in expecta
tion of seeing the Armory converted
into a jail, Guion Hall turned into a
modern Monte Carlo, and the Y. M.
C. A. made into an all-night caberet
with “Pa” Mathews as Florenz Zieg-
field directing the Ayers Laundry Em
ployees as the Follies chorus.

NEXT YEAR LONGHORN
OFFICERS ELECTED
The Junior Class held a meeting on
Sunday, January 25, for the purpose
of electing officers who will have
charge of publishing the 1926 Long
horn. The editor, business manager,
and art editor were chosen early in
the year in order that they may make
plans for next year’s Longhorn and
acquire valuable knowledge from the
staff of this year’s annual.
A. J. Longley of Westover, who is
Junior assistant on this year’s staff,
was elected editor of the 1926 Long
horn. G. E. Garrett of Weimar will
be business manager and G. E. Chris
tensen of Dallas will be art editor.
A staff headed by these men should be
able to publish a Longhorn entirely
up to the standard of previous an
nuals in every respect.
