Didj’a enter A. and M. Lake Cliff Pavilion is the place, October 11 is the date and nine o’clock is the time, so all of you that are go ing to Dallas listen to this. Spec Egan ’23 is making elaborate plans for you. He has all of the arrange ments made, even to the signing of the contract with Aggieland. And you know, that with Aggieland play ing and an A. and M. man sponsoring the dance (and a dance is what I am trying to tell you about) is due to be a good one. Porbably you “old boys remember that Spec was elected the best dancer in his class, when he was here. So knowing something of the art himself his plans were not made from a commercial standpoint alone. Now get busy and beg, borrow, or acquire the ways and means of at tending that game and give that tean} all you have. Then after it is all over, journey out to the LAKE CLIFF PAVILION and make your trip a complete success. The dance will not be restricted to A. and M. men alone, but it is primar ily for you and it will be the only A. and M. dance in Dallas that night. So get right and make that game and don’t miss the dance for Spec is count ing on you. * <: * “Chin” Anderson and “Cow” Tur ney stood it as long as they could, but last Saturday was the limit, so the Smithville Band greeted them that afternoon. Too bad Chin’s girl was out of town. We wonder if she heard that he was coming. * * * Arthur Huff a nd “Soupy” Woods made an extensive trip last week-end. Calvert and Cameron were both hon ored. * * * Barney Dodd was “out amongst them” last week. We don’t know just what night, but we think that he went riding in one of those “Full” Moons. * * * A. A. Ward, Milo Abercrombie, and| Tom Stancliff were in Houston last Saturday and Sunday. Milo was the only one we could get a report on and it is said that he and an old school mate had a “Large” time. * * * Ask Barney Dodd about the letter that was signed “From Just Me.” * * * We have been worried. Dr. Jaggie was hard to locate most every night last week. We were quite a bit eased to discover that he has been learning to drive a Paige. Could not say as to the number of hands he needs to hold the wheel. Well versed in The Science of MILITARY TACTICS Which you learned As a member of the BOY SCOUTS and the SALVATION ARMY?
