THE B ATTALIGN S T A NEW COACH ON THE JOB! Wadding bells will ring out in Fort Worth, December 19th, for one Head Coach D. X. Bible and Miss Rowena Rhodes of Bryan, well known to hundreds of old A. and M. men. The wedding ceremony will be conducted by Dr. George W, Truett, pastor of the First Baptist church of Dallas. The wedding will oc cur at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Cole, formerly of Bryan, now living in Fort Worth. Following the ceremony The Bible and His New Testament will go to Tennessee for a brief visit with D. X.’s family. The announcement of the wedding did not come to the College people as a distinct surprise, as D. X. has been “sparking” Rowena for about three years. Everyone was just hoping that there would be some success attending Bible’s efforts. It is believed that D. X.’s motto, “Work will win when wishing wont”, had its inception in his own campaign. Here’s hoping that “There Shall Be No Regrets”. Mr. and Mrs. Bible will be at home at College Station after Jan uary 1st. * ❖ * “Y” NOTES * Extension Workers Entertained by “Y”.
