When the Aggie football candidates report to Kyle field Sept. 10 to begin the training season they will find that field in wonderful condition. Busi ness Manager James Sullivan has left no stone unturned these hot summer days to put the park in the best pos sible shape. The completion of the new steel bleachers on the west side of the field, filling and resodding of the playing field, repairs to dressing rooms are three of the many things which have been done this summer to improve the appearance of the park and to make it more convenient for players and spectators alike. The Texas Aggies now have the best organized athletic park in the South. The provision of a new play ing court for basketball and a field dressing station, which it is hoped can be done within the next year or so, will make the park and its equipment ideal. There will be 8,000 most excellent sea£s available constantly at the foot ball park at Kyle field. The new steel grandstand is the same type as the old one, the only difference being in size. The old one extends the full length of the grid iron, 360 feet, while the new one will only touch the 15 yard line at each end, being 200 feet in length. Its ca pacity inclusive of box seats will be 3,500. The capacity of the old one is 6,200. ENGINEERING GRADUATES WANTED BY DALLAS FIRM There are several openings with the Nagle, Witt and Rollins Engineering Company of Dallas for civil engineer ing graduates of the A. and M. Col lege. Several draftsmen are needed at once and two asphalt inspectors will be needed soon. Anyone know ing of civil engineering graduates of A. and M. who might be interested in these positions should boost by pass ing the word along. Sangster Bizzell, ’22, who took his master’s degree in civil engineering at Cornell University this year, has accepted a position with the State Board of Health. He is acknowl edged to be the best trained sanitary engineer in the state, but has am bition to extend his margin to train ing still further. He is planning to follow up a couple of years of prac tical experience in sanitary work in this state with work for a doctor’s degree at Johns Hopkins. His work with the State Board of Health enabled him to make his head quarters on the campus for about a month this summer. E. N.
