AND M. AGGIES FIRST DUAL TRACK MEET A VICTORY While undergoing medical treat ment in the Harris Sanitarium at Ft. Worth, recently, A. K. Short, Agron omist, Extension Service and an ex student of A. and M. College, was agreeably surprised as well as pleas ed to have the following verses read to him by the nurse, Miss A. Cates, who was a former Home Demonstra tion Agent in Harrison county, Tex as: The rose nowhere bloom so white As at dear old A. and M. The sunshine nowhere shines so bright, As at dear old A. and M. The birds nowhere sing quite so sweet And nowhere hearts so lightly beat. For Heaven and Earth both seem to meet Down at dear old A. and • M. The days are never quite so long At dear old A. and M. Nor filled so full with happy song As at dear old A. and M. And when my time has come to die, Just take me back and let me lie Close to the Campus of dear old A. and M. There is nowhere a land so far As at dear old A. and M. So full of song, so full of care As at dear old A. and M. And I believe that happy land The Lord’s prepared for mortal man, Is built exactly on the plan Of dear old A. and M. Composed this 13th day of March, ’20. (By A. Cates, Nurse). ❖ 4. ! ❖ -> •:* •:* *:• *:* ❖ ❖ •I* ❖ ❖ ❖ •j- ❖ ❖ ❖ T *:* *:* *:* •:* *:• ❖ •:* *:• *3 *:• ❖ *:• *:* ❖ *;• •:* T t V •I* *:* ❖ *:* T ❖ *:* *:* ❖ ❖ ❖ *:* ❖ ❖ •:* *;* *!* DO YOU KNOW?
