DEAN KYLE TALKS TO AG.
SENIORS
Dean E. J. Kyle, Head of the
School of Agriculture, recently
called a meeting of the Agricultural
Seniors for the purpose of outlm-
ing the different lines of work that
were open to graduates in his de
partment. He emphasized the im
portance of being careful in the se
lection a man made as upon it de
pended his prosperity and happiness.
Another point was that everyone in
any line of work was better suited
for a job or position after serving
a short period of apprenticeship and
that it was far better to prove a sui*-
prise than a dissappointment. He
signified his ability to place everyone
who desired being placed by enu
merating the great number of ap
plications which had been filed with
him.
The subject of a Bughunter’s Pic
nic was also brought up and this re
ceived favorable comment from all
present. This was turned over to
Burns of the election committee to
decide on a committee to consider
same. The need of an agricultural
show, picnic of something is being
made more prominent by the actions
of other departments besides the fact
that it was once the custom at this
institution, at Missouri and other
large agricultural colleges such en
tertainments ai’e a feature and are
usually observed by the immediate
vicinity and neighborhood. All this
needs is someone to get behind it
and push. Who will be the man?

Case 22-40 Kerosene Tractor
We could build Case Tractors cheaper
—but they would cost you more!
Built into every Case Kerosene Tractor is a high
degree of immunily Irom Ircquent repairs, replace
ments and undue wear. It would cost less to use
iron castings in many places instead of the drop-
forged steel we do use; but it would cost vou far
more forreplacement of broken and worn out parts.
We could save a lot by using cast-iron open gears
instead of cut steel gears running in oil-tight
housings; but later on, you’d pay many times the
difference for extra parts, and lose more by delay.
Thus, all through, in design, material, workman
ship and equipment, w^ build Case Kerosene Tract
ors the best that they can ba built instead of
building cheaply and “passing the buck ” to you.
Case Kerosene Tractors are built in a standard
ized design of three sizes: 10-18, 15-27 and 22-40 h.p.
respectively and are uniform in dependability, dura
bility and simplicity of operation and adjustment.
Back of Case Kerosene Tractors is the great line
of power farming machinery built by the J. I. Case
Threshing Machine Co., including equipment for
keeping a Case Kerosene Tractor profitably em
ployed throughout the year.
Write for free catalorr descriptive of Case Tractors, and
