fact that each distilate can be

products, according to wish and

The Chemistry Club is very much

kindness, and every one enjoyed
greatly his talk, but sorry not to

T CLUB DANCE SPLENDID
AFFAIR
The dance given by the T Club was
one of the most succeesful affairs
held in Bryan this year. Hiia dance
was the first of a series of annual
affairs to be given by the T Club.
The hall was beautifully decorated
presenting a pleasing effect to the
eye in red and white. The walls
were covered with large maroon
and white blankets, while the lights
were artistically decorated with red
and white crepe paper. |
Promptly at nine o'clock. Scott
Alexander, president of the club, ac
companied by Miss Beulah Cook, led
the grand march. About one hun
dred couples took part in the skill-
• fully led march. As a fitting cli
max the dancers formed the famed
Aggie T”, while the orchestra
played the well known tune “Wild
cat.” After the distribution of
programs engraved with the T Club
seal, the first ^pnee commenced.
H olicks Orchestra furnished th?
crowd with music unexcelled in the
state of Texas.
„ ex . Miss Brown was the center of at
about the (traction preventing any lagging mom-
ents with her ready wit and timely
hits. When the repast had been en
joyed and cush was served she show
ed unusual tact and adaptability in
securing two portions of ice cream.
All formality dispensed with, toasts
were next in order those receiving
recognition and applause being given
by Mr. Burkes which was, “Woman
is the masterpiece of the great au
thor—the edition is large and every
man should have a copy”, and Miss
Henry’s toast to man. Miss Lois
Pipkin received warmest thoughts
with her toast to the boys from, out
West where the friendship Is g little
longer snd the hand shake a- little
stronger.
The dinner party was followed by
a theatre party at the Queen where
It was necessary for the gallery
stermers to first rush the immicable
Catfish and his partner from same.
The bunch took possession and every
body got acquainted to an extent that
every indication of hilarious enjoy
ment was shown by ceaseless cbat
tery and boisterous laughing.
The' entire membership feels that
they owe the success of the affair to
the young ladies, without whom it
would haye been a miserable failure
and with whom it was a pleasant sue
ceas. Thanks are acknowledged to
the Hotel management and Queen
theatre for every courtesy extended
The young ladies present were: Grpce
More head. Nina Henry. Maude Brown.
Guasie Brockman, Lena Wooten,
Ethel Eyhna, Minnie Thompson.
Richie Nevrland, Dona Newlaod. Susie
Sanders. Eloise Black, Lois Pipkin.
Louise Pipkin.
