CORPS DANCE SATURDAY NIGHT SCHOOL OF VETERINARY SCI- ENC E < ELEBRATES TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY. r M To carry out the perfect week end which had been started with the "T” dance on Friday night in Bryant and also as an opportunity for everyone to loosen up for the R. V., a corps dance was given Saturday , nighu The A. and M. Five offered the music for the occasion and registered a hit with the crowd. They performed ex* ceptionally well taking into consid eration the length of time they have been playing together' and everyone predicts a jazzy future. The out of town element lent much enthusiasm and interest to the affair, as civilisa tion alwwys does. A program of ap proximately eight dances was com pleted and the beauty of it all was there was. no buttons, etc., to lie swept up the next morr)ing. The little verse ‘ "Hush little ahimndy/ Don’t you cry. You'll be respectable ; • Bye and Bye” j doesn’t apply particularly at College Station because the shoulder roll is confined strictly to reveille • exer cises. The Irftest as seen that night was the “chaparal run.” These corps dances are to be giv en as regularly as possible between now and the R. V. Hop in April. So come out and make .mates of those two left feet.
