Lieut. E. C. Turpe was a visitor
on the campus last week. He w:
a junior last year and 1st Segt. of
the Band. When the Signal Corps
unit was organised here in the fall
of* 1917 “Tnrpe” was one of the
first to volunteer. He was soon rec
ommended for a training camp and
won his ebssmission in the Signal
last inning.
The Aggies hit MtlflMBera hard,

them from scoring until the eighth
inning. In this frame they bunched
