During the 2nd game McMurray
was spiked in the hand by Red Eng
lish when he slid into the plate in the
1st inning. “Me” had to retire
from the game a little later.
In the 9th inning of the 1st game
Higginbotham twisted his knee in
fielding a ball. He will probably be
out of the game for some time.
First Game.
1st inning.
D. English flied out to Wise. Beall
out short to 1st. W'. English out 3rd
to 1st.
Lewis flied out to right field. Pries-
ter out 2nd to 1st. Rigney doubled
to deep left. McMurray rolled out
to 1st base unassisted.
2nd inning.
Falk flied out to Glezen after a
good run. Greer singled to right field
but Persohn scooped in the hit and
threw the runner out at 1st. McCul
lough out 3rd to 1st.
Glezen reached 1st when Beall
threw wild to Falk and was advanced
to 2nd on Rothe’s out. Persohn out
2nd to 1st. Glezen goes to' 3rd on
the play. Wise flied out to short.

Collins reached 1st when Priester
fumbled. McMurray tried to catch
Collins napping off 1st and threw
wild. Collins goes to 2nd. Hart flied
out to short. McMurray threw Collins

Higginbotham struck out. Lewis
