During the 2nd game McMurray was spiked in the hand by Red Eng lish when he slid into the plate in the 1st inning. “Me” had to retire from the game a little later. In the 9th inning of the 1st game Higginbotham twisted his knee in fielding a ball. He will probably be out of the game for some time. First Game. 1st inning. D. English flied out to Wise.
