It has been character ized by competent critics as present ing a clear and vivid picture of the administration and organization of the college, and as being undoubtedly the most remarkable collection of facts in the history of the institution. Every student is urged to become ac quainted with these facts so that he may gain knowledge of the merits of his college. For fear that some of these charming booklets might not be available, we reproduce below, the facts which make up its contents: 1. The I. and G. N. runs by the College every day. 2. Bryan, the metropolis of the South, is but five miles away. 3. Excellent transportation is of fered to cadets by the Bryan Traction Co. 4. Soccer is encouraged by the different coaches. 5. The rooms are used to study in, not to hold “Bull Pens.” 6. Hazing has been completely abolished. 7. Sick cadets are treated home like in the hospital. 8. Reveille has been abblished to allow cadets more sleep . 9. Water is never thrown around the Halls. 10. Cigarettes are never used by cadets. 11. Rooms in Dormitories are never cold in winter. 12i Seniors were never known to ram underclassmen. 13. No cadet has ever complain ed about the food. 14. Furloughs are easily obtain ed. 15. There are no old buildings on the campus. 16. Basins are in every room and running water available by cadets. 17. Ice water in brought to rooms upon ringing the bell. 18. Cadets are allowed to visit Bryan any night. 19. Compulsory chapel atten dance has been abolished. 20. Corps dances are given upon request. 21. If not satisfied with the school, money is refunded. 22. Profane language is never used by cadets. 23. Cadets are not required to at tend class when lessons are unpre pared. 24. No article was ever known to be missing. 25. Sentinels are allowed to en ter rooms and converse while on posts. 26. Cadets are never urged to turn out lights. 27. Slang is never used in Mess Hall. 28. Cadets are not supposed to attend formations. 29. Cadets are urged to be ab sent from taps. 30. Cadets are permitted to sleep thru S. M. I. provided their snoring does not disturb the inspector. 31. Money is not needed at any time. 32. Sentinels are never inspected on posts. 33. Cadets are never hurrahed while walking on the campus with girls. 34. Time flies while attending classes. 35. No cadet was ever known to be angry. 36. Cadet with a limit of demerits is always welcome by the discipline committee. 37. Fish are never known to haze Seniors. 38. The Fish each year look for ward to the Junior Banquet. 39. The Sophomores were never known to call a Freshman “Fish” while in the presence of ladies. 40. Cadets are never repriman ded for going to station to watch trains pass. 41. Leggett Hall contains no “Meal-Hounds.” 42. The Fish are always consul ted by upperclassmen before any movement is attempted. 43. Cadets are never worried with girls consequently they never have the “blues.” 44. The dairy barn is where the cows are kept. 45. The Commandant had mili tary training before coming to A. and M. 46. Fritz Murray rooms on the top floor of Gathright. 47. Fish are treated with the greatest courtesy by upperclassmen. ■ 48. The Director was never known to ram anyone for being ab sent from Glee Club practice. 49. The Glee Club is an organi zation of ordent musical effort, brought together to produce har mony. 50. Carl Wipprecht is a Senior. 51. Sbisa is capable of serving good meals. 52. The Exchange Store is run on a humanitarian basis. 53. A few students are known to have passed Physics practice. 54. When failing to make their courses students are honored by a personal invitation from the Dean to visit his office. 55. President Bizzell parts his hair in the middle. 56. Scholarship is encouraged by Prof. Geist. 57. No cadet was ever known to cut chapel. 58. The Y. M. C. A. confectionery is run on the honor system. 5‘. Cadets are at a disadvantage since Brazos county went dry. 60. Cadets await drill periods with the greatest anticipation.
