News has just been received that
Jno. M. Henderson of Waelder, Texas,
and an old “B” Company man, was
united in marriage to Miss Ruth For
rester of Goldthwaite, Texas, on
Wednesday, March 31st, last. John
was a member of the corps for three
years, and during his residence here,
made a host of fast friends. It is with
pleasure that we make mention of his
marriage, and much success and happi
ness is wished him for the future.

A Friendly “Fish.”
Some of the members of Prof. Mc
Millan’s class were protesting because
they had to make up some work they
had missed while on a furlough. These
aforesaid unfortunates informed Prof.
McMillan that Prof. Gee had excused
them for similar work they had missed
under him, but were not making much
headway towards overcoming Prof.
McMillan’s obdurate and vehement ob
jection, when suddenly the chirping
voice of “Fish” Woods on the front row
was heard, “Come on, Mac, be a
sport.”
SRAUMILLER’S MEN
WIN ALL-COMPANY GAME.

shots. Griesenbeck, at center, was the
star of the game. He seemed to be all
over the field at once, and scored al
most half of the winning team’s
points. There was a large crowd out,
probably due in part to the inducement
offered to those buying tickets.
The men chosen as all-company men
were: Griesenbeck, center; Garza
and Allen, forwards, and Juehl and
Bozeman, guards. These men will
each get a silver basketball. Walter
Braumiller was chosen all-company
coach, and he also gots a basketball.

In the all-company basketball game
held last week, Walter Braumiller’s
sure-shots defeated Runt Hanson’s ti- Hill-Camp
gers by a score of 15-12. The game
was close all the way through, and both , Washam
the teams showed that they had been
well coached. It was team work that Runge-Greene
finally won the victory for the sure-
