Hedges enter tained with an Easter party Saturday afternoon in honor of her little son, Howard. Dear little baskets were given and each found a nest out in the yard. In the dining room the table was artistically decorated with little bun nies. Mrs. Hedges served candies, cream and cake. Easter Party. Saturday morning at 10 o’clock Miss Louise Praetor entertained the members of her Sunday school class with an Easter party. The happy little voices told how •each was enjoying the games and stories told by Mrs. Burke and Miss Proctor. As there are no little folks at the Proctor’s, the Easter rabbit passed them by, so the little people went to the nearby woods, where many eggs were found. Baskets with little bunnies and chicks perched at all angles were used as the place cards. Ice cream, candies and cakes in fancy shapes were served. Miss Proctor was assisted by her mother and sister, Miss Aileen, and Mrs. L. B. Burke. Masquerade Party. With the kind aid of Mrs. Garner, Messrs. Bond’s and Steger’s Sunday school classes entertained the young ladies of Bryan and College with a delightful masquerade party at the Y. M. C. A. on Thursday evening, April 1. Various characters were represent ed—the farmer and his wife, Indian girls, typical Jew, dude, C. I. A. and even John D. Both Easter and April Fool schemes were successfully carried out. The laughter spoke well for the pleasant time that was being spent. At the close of the evening delicious cream and cakes were served. Sunday School Party. Friday evening Mr. Blackwell’s Sunday school class entertained in a most delightful way at the Y. M. C. A. A most pleasant evening was spent playing many jolly games. About twenty young ladies from Bryan and College were present. Mr. Blackwell was assisted in en tertaining by Mr. and Mrs. Gee, Mrs. Hayes and Miss Sara Allen of Bryan. A delicious salad and ice course was served. Personals. Mrs. Carter of Temple is a guest of Mrs. B. Youngblood. Prof, and Mrs. F. C. Bolton enter tained the Campus Bridge Club on Thursday evening. Mrs. Tatum will be hostess to the Five Hundred Club Friday afternoon, April 9. Dr. and Mrs. W. B. Bizzell enter tained the Forty-two Club Thursday evening. Mr. T. M.
