Fish Mason started to work immediately after his election as business manager. He wrote about 175 letters to business men all over the United States, ask ing them for ads. He went to Bryan repeatedly and begged and pleaded with the Bryan merchants for ads. Each member of the class was as sessed 50c. But this was hard to col lect; but Mason was tireless in his efforts. He kept after the Bryan mer chants and he kept his collectors busy in the dormitories. His letters brought very poor results. The big business J. M. He should receive some credit for the financial success of the Battalion. Though Fish “Sky” is one of the busiest cadets on the campus he has time to help the “Fish Bat” immensely.
