Defeated by Mississippi A. & M.
^ Score, 10 to 0.
November 5 at New Orleans, on a
muddy field and in a drizzling rain,
the Mississippi A. & M. football team
defeated the Tulane team by the score
of 10 to 0. Although outweighed by
fifteen pounds, Tulane is said to have
played a good defensive game, and in
variably broke up what was started
for end runs. Mississippi scored two
safeties and a touchdown, Jennings
kicking goal. Rhoades, the Mississippi
fullback, broke his collar bone in the
last period of the game.
