TTIln® M©w IBnaMdlnnn^s Some of the new buildings provided for by the last legislature are now nearing completion, while others, in cluding the Engineering Building, will probably be built within the coming year. The most notable addition to the campus at present is Goodwin Hall, a building of three stories and base ment, on the west end of the drill ground. This is a dormitory of sixty- five rooms. It is designed to be heat ed with hot water, and is said to be built in accordance with the mos' modern ideas. The cost is $50,0u0.00. It is named for a member of the Four teenth Legislature, which made the first appropriation for A. & M. A building which has been needed for a long time is the new Natatorium, situated back of the old “Nat,” and north of the Textile Building. It is a roomy structure, built partly of brick, with the remaining portion of wood, covered with plaster. It will be heat ed by steam or hot water. A tunnel is now under construction for the va rious pipes. This tunnel will run un der every shower, and will do away with the necessity of tearing up the floor to fix the connections. There will be forty-two showers and the same number of dressing rooms. The stalls and the floor will be of marble. The Veterinary Hospital, built at tractively of wood and plaster, is on the corner of the field, northwest of the mule barn. It is divided into box stalls and rooms, everything being ar ranged for the clinical treatment of horses and cattle. It is 135 feet long and 35 feet wide. There is a concete floor throughout, and the whole struc ture is built in the most sanitary man ner. The large Farm Machinery Building is just back of the Chemical Building. Though a frame building, it is built for strength and durability. It will have place for the farm implements, which are loaned to the college, and there will also be a few section rooms. Money will soon be available for si veral other new buildings, among them being the Engineering Building, Avhiich will cost $80,000.00, and the Feed Control Building, the cost of which will be about $100,000.00.
