My dear sir:
T have at hand your
letter of February 28th, which was
referred to me by Mr. C. F. Scott,
and which he acknowledged under
date of March 25tw, f
Messrs. Allen, Gleasou, Pirie
and Ramsey,'.the young men who
came with our Company mimed 1
ately after graduating from the
A. and M. College last June, have
been doing exceptionally well—so
well, indeed, that we will take full
advantage of your offer to send us
fofar young men from this year's
graduating class.
Our rates for the first year have
been increased materially; they are
now twenty cents instead of six-
teriu. j . • vf |
Please have the young men . you
desire to come with our Company
for the two years’ apprenticeship
course fill out and return the en
closed application blanks to the
writer with a recent photograph,
advising us at the same time just
when We may expect them to re
port for duty.
In lint with the above would re

C*$ion. j
, I have nothing to suggest in the
way of improvements in your train
ing of young men at the College,
since the work of the four men
now with us compares quite favor
ably with the work done by the
other young men from the various
technical schools throughout the
United States.
One thing in their favor is that
they are willing to work and very
anxious to learn.
Yours very truly,
