Ran advanced the ball ag-ain toward our g*oal; lost it - on our
ten j^ard line, but quickly won it and advanced as far as our
four line. They were held then for the first two downs, but
on the third down Add-Ran’s full back hurdled over the g-oal
line, but was shoved back to our three yard line before the
ball was downed. The referee declared a touch down, how
ever, and the score was protested. Add-Ran kicked g-oal.
Our team was in possession of the ball for the balance of
the first half and was on Add-Ran’s fifteen yard line when
time was called. The score at the end of the first half was
Add-Ran, 6; A. & M., 0.
In the second half our team braced up, made two touch
downs, and kicked both goals The ball was in Add-Ran’s
possession only once during the balance of the game. The
final score was: A. & M., 12; Add Ran, 0.
The officials were, L,. Bethea of Bryan and Simpson of
Waco. Prof. Johnston and Sherley were time keepers.
A. & M. VS. OKLAHOMA.
One of the best games of football ever pla^-ed on the
campus was played between our team and the Oklahoma Uni
versity team on Oct. 19th. Both teams plaved an excep
tionally good game and up to the last minute of play neither
side had any decided advantage The Oklahoma boys
worked the double pass around both our ends, upholding*
their reputation as trick players. When Capt. Bogel of the
Oklahoma team blocked a kick on our three y T ard line, was
