In the evening the band gave a con
cert, and at 8 o’clock, in the Chapel,
the Rev. Rr. Bowers of the Episcopal
Church, of Bryan, delivered a most
entertaining and instructive address
before the Y. M. C. A. of the College.
A large and appreciative audience at
tended and profited much by the intel
lectual repast served by the speaker.
Monday, June 11.

spected the shops, creamery, live stock,
farm machinery, apparatus and apli-
ances for instruction, and the Cadets
at work. Much surprise and interest
was especially shown in the work by
the students on exhibition. These con
sisted of turned work, of all kinds,
miniature bridges, center tables,
chains, tongs, etc., from all three of
the departments.
At 11 a. m. the joint celebration of
the Austin and Calliopean Literary So
cieties, took place. Vice President Tay-
W. A. BUHLER, B. S. in M. E., of Vic
toria, Texas, entered college in Septem
ber, 1897. Was Second Lieutenant of the
“Foster Guards;” and graduated as First
Lieutenant Co. “C.”
lor, of the Austin Society, welcomed
the visitors to the College, in a neat
little speech, follow >d by the orator of
H. FAUST, B. S. in M. E.. of New
Braunfels, Texas, entered college Septem
ber, 1896. Graduated as First Lieutenant
Co. “B.”
