The holidays have come and gone,
so once more we find ourselves grap
pling with the many problems that
confront a school boy. We are very
glad to see so many of the boys re
turn and take up their work with a
determination and energy that speaks
success. We also heartily welcome
the new boys that have entered our
school, and; wish them success in their
work and life. Boys, your school days
are the ones for you to prepare for life
in, so don’t let them pass by unheeded.
Put in your time working hard. You
will never regret it in your old age,
and you cannot expect to make life a
success unless you take advantage of
every opportunity to better yourself.

take a great interests'in both. Boys, I
want you to beat all the records that

gether and make the best records in
the State this year. We can do this,
for we have got the best men; that is,
we have the material, that can be de
veloped into the best men.

One thing that is lacking in our
school is college spirit, and we are
glad to see this gradually growing,
and hope that before many years have
passed to see. it at a great height. We
have as good material here as any
college in the State, and what we
want now is to create a spirit that
