conditions of the weather. The
plans accepted for the building
embody most of the ideas and ar
rangement worked out between
Prof. Connell and Prof. Price.
When the building is completed
it will be about the best Agricul
tural and Horticural building in
the South, as well as an ornament
to the campus.
The Forestry division of the
U. S. Department of Agriculture
has made Prof. Price a special
offer to undertake some forestry
work for the U. S. Department of
Agriculture in Texas during the
winter.
The Horticultural department
has received a request from Dr.
H. P. Armsby, chairman of the
station exhibit of the experiment
stations for the Paris Ex
position, to prepare an exhibit
showing the scientific classifica
tion of varieties of the peach
which was worked out here sev
eral years ago and published in
Bulletin No. 39 from the experi

about ready and will be forward

Arrangements are being made

The Baylor Literary as it comes
to us this month certainly de
serves credit. Baylor University
can justly feel proud of it. We
noticed especially in the contents
the “New Era” for Baylor, and we
are glad such a change has taken
place. Besides other changes,
Baylor has at last thrown away
her foolish and poor opinion of
the great college game football,
and is now ready to receive chal
lenges from her sister colleges.
Hurrah for Baylor!
A New Way to Propose.
He: “Can you keep a secret?”
She: “Certainly I can.”
He: “Then I’d like to tell you
that I want to get married.”
She: “You don’t say so!”
He: “Yes, and I don’t want
.nybody but you to know it.”
