Sterns of Houston visited at the colleg-e. General. F. R. Waties of Houston was a gmest at the colleg-e. Dr. Wilson, president of the Baylor female colleg-e at Belton, was among- the visitors. Dr. J. C. Brewer of Lytton Spring’s was here to wit ness the graduation of his son. Profs. J. C. Nag-le and Charles Puryear attended the university commencement at Austin as representatives of the Agricultural & Mechanical Colleg-e. W. R. Wilson was here from Navasota. J. C. Crisp, a lawyer of Beeville, was here. Mr. Crisp was one of the first six students of the colleg-e in 1876. Miss Kloss of Bellville was a gmest at Colleg-e. Miss Clement of Port Lavaca visit here during- com mencement. Miss Wadell of Victoria attended commencement. Miss Annie Adams was the gmest of Mrs. A. L. Banks. Mr. G. W. Whisenant and W. B. Sloan of Kyle visited commencement. Mr. C. C. Love was the first man in the class of ’99 to get married. He was married in Galveston June 20, 189.9.
