Misss Rosa Collett of Austin was a g-uest at the home
of Prof. Philpott.
Dr. W. E. Gillespie of Manor was the gmest of his
brother, Dr, A. C. Gillespie of Colleg-e.
Mrs. Kahn of Hallettsville and Mrs. Bryan of McKin
ney were guests at the home of Prof. Price.
Governor Sayers attended commencement here, then
left for Houston to attend the university commencement.
Mr. Spiller was awarded a handsome oratorical medal,
Prof. H. H. Harrington making the presentation in an
eloquent and appropriate manner.
Miss Bellie Japhet of Houston was the guest of Miss
Elizabeth Wipprecht
Miss Herman of Louisville, Ky., visited Miss Marie'
Adams.
Miss Agnes Harlock of Navasota and Miss Minnie
Ludlow of San Antonio visited Miss Marie Mistrot.
Miss Stella Howell of Navasota visited Miss Jennie
Howell.
Miss Ward of Marlin, Miss Anita Hunter of Fort
Worth, Miss Alma Dickerson of Paris, Miss Ellen Garden
er of Marlin and Miss Daisy Astin of Mumford were guests
of Mr. and Mrs G. S. Parker.
Miss Mollie Ella Yarborough of Navasota and Miss
Sadie McIntyre of Brenham visited Mr. and Mrs. W. S.
