Miss Cora Schultz and Miss Redfield of Dallas were
g-uests of Miss Edna Foster.
Mrs. E. E. Penson and son, Clinton Walden, were
guests of the college from Dickinson.
Miss Addie Rollo and Miss Annie Van Pelt of Nava-
sota visited Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Boyett.
Mrs. S. F. Poulter and Misses Adrian and Amie Poul-
ter and Miss Taylor were visitors from Howard.
Misses Edna Ross, Bertha Becker and Ethel Hans
of Brenham visited friends here.
Dr. W. T. Mather of the department of physics was
here representing the faculty of the state university.
Misses Lott, Blackshear and Smith, and Mrs. Lockett
were visitors at Prof. Hutson’s from Navasota.
Mrs. Chas. Guild of Dallas, Mrs. Chas. Ray and Miss
Allie Ray of Marshall, Miss Jessie Finlay of Arlington
were among the commencement visitors.
Land Commissioner Charles Rogan was here from
Austin attending the alumni meeting. Judge Rogan is
one of the warmest friends the college has in the state
Mrs. John Kennedy, Miss Mamie Smith, Miss Flora
Fitzgerald, Mrs. J. H. Fitzgerald and Miss Queen of
Houston were visitors here enjoying the commencement
exercises.
Hon, Jeff Johnson of Austin, Col Frank Holland of
Dallas and Capt. F. A. Reichardt of Houston, members of
the board of directors were here.
Hon. Dudley Wooten was here during commencement.
