What Transpired at the A. & IT. College During the Time.

Year by year the College shows marked improvement
and even now the writer doubts if there is a prettier or
more perfectly cutivated spot in Texas. With the addi
tions in buildings and other improvements provided for by
the last legislature, the magnificence, comfort and con
venience of the place will be enhanced very greatly, and it
will be only a question of a few years until this institution
will be placed on a footing where it will be able to ac
commodate all the young men who desire to avail them
selves of its benefits, and then indeed will it become the
pride of the state.
The administration of the affairs of the College dur
ing the past year has also been marked by progress and
advancement. President Foster is an incessant and tire
less worker and all his marked administrative ability and
marvelous energy are enlisted in the work.
