V is for victory which will soon come.

W is for Whittle the zero charmer.
X is for ten so hard to make,
Y is for yell when our “dips” we take.
Z is for zenith to which we all aspire,
& if we can we’ll go a little higher.
The most important thing for you to consider is the
selection of a school to attend. Spend your time and mon
ey in the best, as the best is the only satisfactory one that
you could attend. Ours is the best and is recommended as
the best by merchants, bankers and all classes of business

RESOLUTIONS OF THANKS.
Whereas, The present meeting of the Texas State
Oratorical Association has been most profitable and en
joyable, therefore be it
Resolved, That we the visiting- representatives of the
various colleges belonging to this association wish to ex
press to the faculty and students of the A. and M. College
our appreciation of the efforts they have put forth to in
sure the success of this meeting, and our thanks for the
many favors and courtesies extended to us, and we beg the
privilege to assure them that we shall long cheerish pleas-
ant # memories of this occasion.
