“Eastman College Magazine,” of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Although its articles are short, we think no one will regret
reading “The Three Pins,” “Caesar’s Personal Traits” and
“What Can I Do.” They all show that their writers have
given their subject some little study and thought. I would
especially commend the third article mentioned above.
As a maid nice
With step precise
Tripped o’er the ice
She slipped, her case in vain.
And at the fall

“The College Barometer” of Corvallis, Oregon, is a
very neat little magazine. In the article entitled, “A
Patriot in Spain,” by Dennis H. Stovall, I think he makes
his hero act a little too rash. One would hardly expect
any sensible person to do as the hero of his story did, and
come out alive. Otherwise the story is very good. “A Bit
of Experience,” by E. C. Powers, is I must say not much of
a story and I felt that I had gained nothing b} 7 reading it.
