Kyle, of Company A, was master of ceremonies, and ad dresses were as follows: Welcome Address, Capt. E. J. Kyke, A. & M. C. Response, Mr. Carmicle, S. W. U. “Our Army,” Mr. “Our Navy,” Mr. Martin, B. U. Toast to T. U , Mr. McCluney, T. U. “Woman,” Mr. Short, F. W. U. “Patriotism,” Capt. R. J. Poulter, A. & M. C. Toast to F. W. U., Mr. Stitt, F. W. U. The tables were placed in a hollow square with a beautiful pedestal of flowers in the center. Music was furnished by the Cadet band at intervals between the ad dresses. After the addresses were finished and due time spent at tables, led by Pres. E. E. Foster and wife, all re tired to the parlors and after a short time of social greet ing dispersed, feeling that an evening had been spent with pleasures long to be remembered. * * * THE COLLEGE ORATORS. The state oratorical contest was held at the A, and M. College assembly hall Friday night before a very large and appreciative audience, visitors being present from many distant points. There were five orations delivered by repre sentatives of as many institutions in different parts of the state. The visitors came accompanied by classmates and
