16 THE BATTAEION. and shall take no action until such member deposits with the adjutant a sum sufficient to defray all expense of com municating- same to the Fraternity. On receipt of such sum the cotmcil shall proceed as above. BY-EAWS. 1. The initiation fee shall be one dollar, payable on admittance, and one dollar,, payable on admittance to the second degree. 2. The annual dues shall be one dollar, payable with in thirty days after each annual meeting - . 3. No member shall be permitted to resigm until all dues are paid. 4. There shall be no fines. 5. Orderly and courteous behavior will be expected and a member gmilty of a breach of order may be suspended by the commander. fi. Reed’s Rules of Parliamentary Practice shall g-overn the meeting’s of the Fraternity. 7. The Fraternity button shall be adopted at the annual meeting- of 1897, and when so adopted shall not be chang-ed except be a two-thirds vote of the members at an annual meeting-. 8. The Fraternity colors shall be and shall be worn during annual commencements by those attending. These By-Eaws may be temporarily suspended by the Campus Council as provided in the Constitution, or may be changed by a majority vote of members present at an annual meeting.
