1st Lieut. W. E. Crow.—Doc, alias Cisco Pete, writes
that up ’till July 1st, he made up for lost time, since then
he has been preparing- himself for Tulane this fall, by
reading- Anatomy.
C. B. Donalson Jr.—Jack has turned “Bug- Hunter,”
settled down and g-one to farming-. He intimates that he
will not keep batch long-. Among- his farming- implements
is a long-handle hoe. Explanation—he purchased this so
he can stay in town and chop.
Lieut. G. F. Foutrel is at home, San Antonio, and is
at present taking a commercial course in one of the Busi
ness Colleges of that place.
Lieut. W. F. H. Glover, Yemasse, S. C., assisted in
gathering the harvest after his return home. He has
formed partnership with his father in the dairy business.
Lieut. F. J. Greenwood instructs me to correct the re
port here at college that he is married. It is gratifying
to know that “Greeny” has had a position as Civil En
gineer since June.
The remark has been made that Prof. Hudson’s horses
are in a much better condition this year than last. It is
probably due to fewer trips to Bryan. He wants the
Battalion.
Lieut. Wm. A. Harrison, Valedictorian of the class,
who was so highly complimented on the address by com
petent persons, is keeping books for the American Book
Co., Dallas, Texas. Scully spent the greater part of the
summer at the favorite summer resort. Colleg-e Station.
