The Lyre is a neat little magazine, and is well edited. “A Visit to the Ruins of an Ante-Bellum Home,†in Simmon’s College Monthly is worthy of mention. The Carlton College Gleaner contains a very romantic article called “A Romance of the American Revolution.†The following from the exchange department of the A. C. Reveille is entirely uncalled for : “ In Simmon’s College Monthly ‘A Sad Accident ’ is a very poorly written article.†The death of a comrade by a comrade is a thing altogether too lamentable to be mixed up with trivial matters and spun out like a third class newspaper story.†We are heartily in
