EXCHANGE-.
We take pleasure in announcing the arrival of the fol
lowing exchanges:
The Lyre, Simmon’s College Monthly; Purdue Exponent,
The Gray Jacket, The Lake Breeze, The College Barometer,
The Aerolith, Recorder, Add-Ran Collegian, Carlton College
Gleaner, The High School Opinion, The Public School
Review, The Guard and Tackle, The Daniel Baker Collegian,
The Austin College Revielle, Santa Maria and St. Mary’s
Record.
In the December number of the Purdue Exponent is an
interesting little love story entitled “The South Room.”
“ Philosophy as and Educational Influence,” in the same
issue, contains much sound sense. “The Divided Cloud ” a
continued story in the Gray Jacket, is very interesting;
“ The Building Character ” is also excellent. The Lyre is
a neat little magazine, and is well edited. “A Visit to the
Ruins of an Ante-Bellum Home,” in Simmon’s College
Monthly is worthy of mention. The Carlton College Gleaner
contains a very romantic article called “A Romance of the
American Revolution.”

C. Reveille is entirely uncalled for : “ In Simmon’s College
Monthly ‘A Sad Accident ’ is a very poorly written article.”

too lamentable to be mixed up with trivial matters and spun
out like a third class newspaper story.” We are heartily in
