Hempstead, Texas, January 4.—The faculty of Prairie
View State Normal school extend sincerest sympathy.

Chattanooga, Tenn.—I claim the priviledge of joining
my tears with yours for a brother gone. Deepest sympathy
for Mrs. Ross, George Clark.
