Wanted—To be sent off and exchanged for a pair of chev
rons.—Faust.
The second class wants an easier chemistry.
Newton has a mania for raising his cap—especially when
the companies are passing in review.
Miss Bessie Ross is visiting in Dallas.
The two new professors residences are completed and
are quite an addition to the campus.
We understand one of the bachelor professors has re
quested that a house be built for him. We wonder if he is
going to live in it by himself.
What’s the matter with the foot ball team? They’re all
right.
English Section Room. Prof.—“Mr. J. who was the
father of King John?
Mr. J:—“The father of King John was King John’s
father. ”
Prof.—“That will do Mr. J.” (zero).
Who said we wouldn’t go to the fair?
We have the fastest foot ball team in the state and it
should be supported accordingly.
We wonder why Tracy w r ent to hear the Smith Sisters
by himself?
We are certainly indebted to the Ladies’ Arial Sextette
for the delightful music they furnished at the Sunday service-
Dr. Frank Ross of Houston, is visiting his parents.
The Battalion would like to have every cadet on its sub
scription list.
The following young ladies have been elected sponsers
for the various companies: A company, Miss Mary Bittle;
B company, Miss Ethel Cavitt: C company, Miss Bessie
Ross; D company, Miss Rita Sbisa.
