The Executive Committee spared no pains to make the
occasion one long to he remembered by the fortunate ones
present, and it is not too much to say that it far surpassed
all previous celebrations given by the association. Mr. B.
Sbisa, steward of the college, lent his invaluable assistance
in preparing the banquet, of which the menu was as follows:

Professor W. B. Philpott, toastmaster, sat at the head of
a long table spread for 100 guests. On his right sat Gov
ernor Culberson, as the guest of honor, and on the left Gov-
ernor L. S. Ross. Judge Bryan, Judge Schultze, Professor
