Mr. F. L. Montgomery, ’89, a stirring young lawyer of
Sherman, was married to Miss Mozelle Davis of Austin. He
has won a beautiful and noble young woman. We wish for
them all the pleasures that usually fall to man.
Mr. Waldo G. Myers, B. M. E., ’94, who has been work
ing with the sewerage system of Meridian, Miss., has gone to
JNew Orleans to accept a similar position.
Prof. W. B. Philpott and Robert F. Smith spent the
■summer preparing a souvenir of the Confederate Reunion in
Houston. It is known as the “Sponsor Souvenir Album.”
It is not out yet but, if advance proof sheets are to be taken
as an indicator “its a dandy.”
We are glad to report of the success of L. L. Lewis, ’93,
He graduated from the Veterinary^ college at Ames, Iowa, with
the highest honors. He has been offered an assistantship at
Ames and will likely accept.
The matter for this issue was prepared by Buell C. Pit-
tuck, ’94, of Dallas. It will be the policy^ of the Alumni
editor to avoid all work or at least as much as possible. We
■expect to have each issue edited by a different person. It’s an
experiment and whatever good or bad there is in it, time will
tell. We would like very much to hear from the Alumni.
We want the news and your thoughts. A postal will do it
if y r ou are too busy to write more.

Willman was at the’phone talking with a certain “fair
'One” in Bryan when “Minnow” came hastily up wishing to
talk also, upon which Willman exclaimed loudly (to “Min
now” ) : “Get away from the ’phone or I’ll break your neck.”
The words went through the ’phone, and you can ask Will-
man the result.
