Although the weather without was miserable, the atmosphere within was laden with all that soothes and de-- lights the soul. The occasion was a de lightful one indeed, and music, dancing, and a delicious repast toward the noon of night, all conspired to render this a social event that will long be remem bered by all present. At the last regular meeting it was decided that Damon and Pythias will be the next play the club will present to the public. You have seen what a suc cess Ingomar was, so you may expect Damon and Pythias will be as ably ren dered. The cast with the exception" of Mr. Waldron who will take the part of Damon has not been selected yet. It will probably be some time in the spring be fore the play will be presented. Messrs. Luekttt, Fowler and Hutson IV. were elected members and Mrs. Spence an an honary member of the club. Pres. L. S. Ross took a business trip to Austin last week. Rev. T. ('. Bittle held divine services in Bryan on the 7th. Mr. Gilbert paid his son, Captain Joe Gilbert, a short visit la.-t week. Mrs. Spence enjoyed the holidays with her parents in Hempstead. Who is the gallant second-classman who has so many delightful dreams? Misses Rita Sbisa and Bessie Ross vis ited the societies at the last meeting. We are glad to learn that Mrs. Har rington has recovered from her illness. Miss Nina Hill, of Hempstead, visited friends at the College during Thanks giving week. Prof. Winstead and Mr. Wharton, of Bryan were visitors of the College during the last month. Miss Mary Bittle, who has been at tending school in Dalian, returned home to spend the holidays. Mr. Dan Cushing, the Alumni corres pondent, is doing good work for the Battalion. He is trying to secure the biographies from all of the graduates.
