The A&M band, under the direction of Lt. Col. E. V. Adams "29, has just released a recording called “The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band.” It is a long-playing album and has 13 selections. Whether you're from the University of Texas or Baylor Univer- sity, or any other college, this recording will bring out all the great spirit of a Texan . The folio that wraps this stirring album is a work of art in itself. On the back it will give you the unbelievable story of the A&M band. It is well worth the $5 to have this great piece of music and it will let you know you are still a Texan, and no one will impose unjust laws on this great state . Mrs. RoBeErRT PATTERSON Victoria There’s not much we can add to a testi- monial like this, Mrs. Patterson. We agree entirely and would just like to note that all profits from the record are going into a special Band Association fund to assist the band. The albums can be obtained by sending $5, plus $1 for postage, packing, and tax, to: Texas Aggie Band Association, Box 7368, College Station, Texas 77840. SELLING THE CAMPUS The present publication is certainly a great improvement, well assembled, and affords good reading even to one who has been away from the Campus for 46 years. “It” is full of interest. When I have finished reading the maga- zine, I always pass my copy on to some of the LaMarque High School students. I have one junior right now who is “sold” on Texas A&M. B. B. NascHKE 22 LAMARQUE It’s always great to see another use for one’s product. Makes us wonder how many others are finding similar uses for the magazine. It also makes a point for the quality wanted by The Association of For- mer Students. A quality magazine will help attract quality students to a quality uni- versity . . . like the one at College Station, Texas. November 1.
