MecAlister is Post AGF Liaison Officer, Seattle Post of Washington Embarkation, Seattle, Wash. . . The friends of Grover C. Dodd, Box 4103, Tucson, Ariz., will regret to know of his illness. He would appreciate hearing from some of his class- mates and friends. Dear Dave: I’ve stood it about as long as I can—every time I get the AGGIE I hustle over to the column for the 1914 Class to see what the gang is doing—and sometimes the 1914 Class is skipped entirely. What gives? Our class is just as important as any of the rest—we have men who have and are contributing to their respective professions— WHY DON'T THEY GIVE OUT? COME ON GANG! Give the class a boost —Okay, I stuck my neck out— didn’t I? Well, here goes. Sure I'm a mechanical engineer—proud of it—and because I'm up to my collarbone in the textile industry does not mean I have deserted the mechanical ranks. It’s just this— the textile industry in South Caro- lina finally had to call on a M.E. to come to its rescue. Now take that—some of you textile Ss, I have 18 large textile mills in South Carolina—3 in Maine—all to rehabilitate and in addition am building two new mills that will be the last word in modern mills. If some of you textile guys want to see the ultimate in a textile mill, then come to see me. Now—that is my contribution— Dave—what are some of the other guys doing? Sincerely J. C. “Hickie” Harrison 217 Mills Avenue Spartanburg, S. C. Dear Gang: I would like to say A-Men to Hickie Harrison’s complaint on the lack of 1914 Class news.
