Charlie Haggard has been named
Southwest representative of the
Master Rule Mfg. Co. of New York
City. The company makes tapes
and rules of all kinds. Haggard’s
territory will include Texas, Lou-
isiana, Oklahoma, parts of Missi-
ssippi and Tennessee. His home
address is 3526 Rosedale, Dallas.
He will have a new address after
his marriage which is reported in
the Mr. and Mrs. column.
Lt. Charles H. Ham is with the
14th Hq. Det. Sp. Trps., Camp
Shelby, Miss. . .. Lt. and Mrs. Sam
F. Nesbit are living at 208A, E.
33rd St., Bryan, while Sam is in
school. Mr. and Mrs. Olin

Sealy Hospital, Galveston. Dr. For-
man at Mount Seni Hospital,
Cleveland, and Dr. Elmendorff at
Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit.
Thos N. Inglis, Jr., has returned
to school and is getting mail at
Box 4273. He was wounded in the
chest in April, 1945, and returned
to the states and hospitalized at
Brooke General Hospital, Mrs. In-
glis is making her home on the
campus.
James L. Allred, Box 457, Silver-
ton, Texas, was a recent campus
visitor. He has just been released
from the Navy after four years
service, a large part of it in New
Guinea and the Philippines. Jim-
my was meeting old friends on the
campus, particularly around the A.
& M. Press, where he worked as a
student and around the Battalion
office, He is thinking of going in-
to the newspaper field somewhere
in West Texas.
Samuel J. Chenoweth, 4024 Mof-
fett, Dallas 11, served overseas for
29 months and earned the Purple
Heart and three campaign stars.
He was released in February. . . .
Lt. Frank B. Swift, Jr., son of
Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Swift, 4031
Cole, Dallas, survivor of the sink-
ing of a Liberty ship in Italian
waters last December is home on
leave. His ship struck three mines,
and he was among forty-two crew |,
members saved . ... Lt. Jas Allen
Byrd, Yoakum, has re-enlisted as
a pilot in the air corps and he
and his wife and daughter will live
at his station in Kansas. . . . James
Vachule has returned to his home
in Yoakum from Guam and plans
to go to an eastern school for
special work in journalism . . . .

cent visitor on the campus while
on leave from Camp Roberts, Calif.
He entered service through the
ERC and went overseas, was selec-
ted for OCS and came back to Fort
Benning where he was commission-
ed on June 19, 1945. He plans to
remain in the army and is expect-
ing another overseas assignment.

fice of Strategic Services behind
Japanese Lines in Asia, and was
awarded the Bronze Star for hero-
ism in helping a wounded comrade
to safety during an ambush be-
hind enemy lines near Loilem, Bur-
ma, on May 25, 1945. . . . Ensign

La., were married December 23,
1945.
Seth M. Gibson was discharged
from the navy in February, having
served 38 months. He is now en-
rolled in A. &M. and residing at
505 East 27th St., Bryan, Texas
. . . . Harry J. Stove, Jr., entered
school in February after three
years and two months of service.
He was 1st Lt. and a pilot of B-
24’s in the 8th Air Force. He earn-
ed the Air Medal, Presidential
Unit Citation, and three battle
stars.
