Dr. For- man at Mount Seni Hospital, Cleveland, and Dr. Elmendorff at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. Thos N. Inglis, Jr., has returned to school and is getting mail at Box 4273. He was wounded in the chest in April, 1945, and returned to the states and hospitalized at Brooke General Hospital, Mrs. In- glis is making her home on the campus. James L. Allred, Box 457, Silver- ton, Texas, was a recent campus visitor. He has just been released from the Navy after four years service, a large part of it in New Guinea and the Philippines. Jim- my was meeting old friends on the campus, particularly around the A. & M. Press, where he worked as a student and around the Battalion office, He is thinking of going in- to the newspaper field somewhere in West Texas. Samuel J. Chenoweth, 4024 Mof- fett, Dallas 11, served overseas for 29 months and earned the Purple Heart and three campaign stars. He was released in February. . . . Lt. Frank B. Swift, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Swift, 4031 Cole, Dallas, survivor of the sink- ing of a Liberty ship in Italian waters last December is home on leave. His ship struck three mines, and he was among forty-two crew |, members saved . ... Lt. Jas Allen Byrd, Yoakum, has re-enlisted as a pilot in the air corps and he and his wife and daughter will live at his station in Kansas. . . .
