Being lazy is the only reason I have for not having written sooner. I am, as always, in the sheep and goat ranching business some 45 miles north of Del Rio. I have been married 14 years, and we have four children, three boys and a girl. The oldest, a boy, is about 30 pounds heavier than his Pa was when we first met in 1920. I am living alone on the ranch, as the family live in town during the school term. Nothing very exciting has happened to me since 1920, except the every-day routine of trying to keep my head above water. Served one year as president of the Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association, and have been a member of the State Soil Conservation Board since it was set up in 1939. See J.
