Nevertheless, the report scrambled Yezak between the Army and the Navy about as thoroughly as could have been done. To get it all straight, he was | Lt. Herman Yezak in the 7. 8.4 Army, and saw extensive service overseas. He was elected to the Legislature last summer and was returned to the U. in January and is at present serving In the Texas Legislature, now assembled at Aus- tin. His home is at Bremond. The mix-up between the Army and Navy came about through his two brothers, who are both , in the Navy. 3 BAILEY DRENNAN has been appointed coach at Jacksonville High School. YARBROUGH was a recent campus visitor home on rotation leave atter practica ly three ye rs in the Pacific. He first sailed in January, 1942. He has seen service in Australia, New Guinea, Trobriand Islands, Biak, and most recently on Leyte. His outfit laid the first air strip on Leyte going in with the assault wave. He brought home, all the way from Australia, his dog ‘Duty’. In a rccent letter Dave said he was bringing a pet home from Australia instead of a wife. It now develops, however, that he had a girl at home and he was married thortly after his arva. Hs home is at Allen, Texas, near McKinney. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Olsen, 6658 Meadow- lawn, Houston, have been advised that ther son, F /O JOHN PAUL OLSEN, an air transport pilot, has been reported missing in action after a mission that carried him over the mountains between India and China on January 7.
